School Social Worker - Long-term Substitute

Intermediate District 287 is looking for a School Social Worker long-term substitute for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year at South Education Center! Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18-22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Work Schedule:

This is a temporary position expected first day of school through mid-December 2026. Salary is based on Local 2209

Salary Schedule A:

Requirements:

Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations. Experience with at risk students with behavioral, mental health, and/or chemical health needs. Advanced degree in Social Work (MSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) from an accredited college or university. Must be licensed in MN by the Board of Social Work. Current Tier 3 or Tier 4 license as a School Social Worker issued by the Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB) or eligible to receive license. View the full Job classification
