Come and meet us at Milestones. .The Bilingual Outreach Support Specialist is responsible for friendly interactions, compliance with established processes and procedures, and accurate data collection. Teamwork and collaboration are essential. This position provides certified car seat education training to families of young children and engages in a variety of community outreach efforts. This team member provides language supports (verbal and written) for all Milestones programs, demonstrating adaptability in daily tasks and willingness to engage in continuous learning and growth.

Education and Training:

Required:

Bilingual, Somali and English High School Diploma and 25+ hours of Achieve/Develop approved training in early childhood education within the last five years OR a commitment to complete this training after hire OR some post-secondary education in child development, early childhood education or a related field OR a current CDA Experience working with families and/or children

Preferred:

Experience in the early care and education field A.A. degree in Early Childhood

OR B.A./B.S.

in Early Childhood/Family Studies or related field a plus Knowledge of MN Rule 2 and/or Rule 3 child care licensing regulations Knowledge of family, friend, and neighbor (FFN) child care and legally non-licensed (LNL) child care Milestones invites applicants to apply regardless of whether they meet all of the desired or preferred qualifications. $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
