Job Description
Qualifications :
1. Must possess at least a master's degree from an accredited educational institution in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, or related field. 2. Must have completed a practical experience in behavioral health services. 3. Must be eligible for licensure in Social Work or Counseling in the State of Missouri. 4. Preference shall be given to those with additional graduate training and/or experience.
Duties :
1. Provide direct therapy services in a designated school setting and/or a designated BBH facility location. 2. Provide initial intake assessment, treatment planning, ongoing therapy services, and case management for students referred by the designated school partner. 3. Provide crisis assessment and intervention services for students referred. 4. Work closely with school administrators and personnel in the provision of behavioral health services for students referred by the District. 5. Participate in cooperative treatment team planning related to students referred/identified by the District. 6. Maintain client files in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. 7. Submit appropriate records for billing. 8. Participate in on-call rotation of MOCARS for this agency's service area. 9. Provide billable services appropriate to the client's needs while meeting the production expectation for the position. 10. Conduct other duties as assigned.
Reporting Supervisor :
Each School-Based Therapist shall be directly responsible to the Clinical Director.
