Child Nutrition Cafeteria General Worker The Child Nutrition worker responsibilities are: Cooking, preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and other food to children and adults in a courteous customer service-oriented manner. Assumes responsibility for ensuring that during meal service periods the supply of food offered is replenished regularly. Assists in the daily cleanup of the kitchen and service areas Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storeroom at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the cook or manager Maintains all standards according to De State Board of Health and HACCP Plan Ability to learn point of sale Works cooperatively with co-workers Represents the school and the school district in an ethical and professional manner at all times. Performs all other tasks assigned by cook or managerQualifications:
High school diploma or GED Ability to complete professional standards and unit classes Have knowledge or willingness to learn the meal pattern requirements as specified by USDA Child Nutrition Program. Have the ability to maintain accurate HACCP requirements and records Employment history demonstrates a strong work ethic and dependability Job requires frequent bending, twisting, turning, crawling, reaching: Exposure to heat and cold, continuous use of hands and the ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.Reports to:
