What they do

A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

As a school-based Therapist, you will work with children and youth in Ritenour school districts to provide clinical services to children, youth and their families while acting in conjunction with school district staff, as well as other community resources.

This Position:
We are interested in Therapists with a Master's Degree in Counseling or related and passed the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or Masters in Social Work with LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker). This is a 10 Month Expanded School-Based position. This is a salaried position, starting at $45,522 (Provisionally Licensed) to $51,750 (Licensed). This position will follow the school district's calendar and will be paid for the days off correspondingly. This position will follow the summer school schedule and work into early/mid July. The ability to obtain or having a driver's license is required. Why Apply?
