We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and independent Visitation Monitors to supervise and facilitate family visits in a safe and supportive environment. If you have a passion for working with children, a heart for helping families, and the flexibility to travel, this position may be the perfect fit for you!
Responsibilities:
Transport children ages 0-18 to and from visits across various locations, ensuring safety at all times. MUST be comfortable with driving long distances and using your own vehicle. Gas stipends are given. Supervise and monitor visits between children and their parents in settings such as schools, residential facilities, and community centers. Ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment for children and families. Enforce company provided guidelines to maintain order, discipline, and a smooth visitation process. Address behavioral concerns using effective conflict management and de-escalation techniques. Provide support and guidance to children, particularly those with behavioral health or child welfare concerns. Intervene in crisis situations when necessary, using appropriate crisis management techniques. Collaborate with social workers, child protective services, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavior and engagement during visits.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children 0 to 18 ( strongly preferred but not required). Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and crisis intervention strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and professionals. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy. Flexibility to adapt to different environments and work schedules, including last-minute changes. Must be willing to drive 80% of the time and comfortable traveling long distances. Must have a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance. Willing to transport both children and parents in personal or company vehicles as needed to locations within St.

Louis City, St.
