  • Contract Job Summary ABC Play LLC of Elizabeth City, NC is currently seeking a talented Infant Toddler Family Specialists to provide Community Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) for clients in northeast North Carolina counties.
The job involves working within the natural environment to provide services as identified on the child's Individual Family Support Plan. The specialist will serve children aged birth to three with certain levels of developmental delay. This will be part time and a contracted CBRS position, with the opportunity to build full time hours upon demonstrated competency and availability. Work hours are flexible. ABC Play

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a Qualifying BS or Master's Degree, Birth-Kindergarten Education/Early Childhood Special Education/Child Psychology/Human Development/Family Relations/Family Studies/Family and Consumer Sciences, Psychology, or Social Work. A minimum of one year direct hands on work experience with young children and their families is required. Must have your own transportation and proof of insurance. The Infant, Toddler and Family Certificate (ITFC) is a required credential for individuals that provide service coordination and special instruction services. This can be obtained through NCDHHS. Per NCDHHS, "The annual continuing professional development requirement is 10 contact hours (1.0 CEU) per year, to be obtained between January 1 and December 31 of the year. Contact hours/CEU credits must focus on infants and toddlers with or without disabilities, and their families."
