$2,200.00 - $2,286.00 / Weekly Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families through challenging circumstances, with expertise in child welfare, behavioral health, and crisis intervention. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive social services, advocating for high-risk populations, and fostering positive outcomes within diverse communities. Your work will involve direct client engagement, case management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the well-being and safety of those served. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, including child protective services and family dynamics, to develop tailored intervention plans. Provide crisis management and crisis intervention support to individuals experiencing urgent or high-risk situations. Assist families navigating child & family services, including child welfare and family law matters, ensuring access to appropriate resources. Support clients with behavioral health challenges and disabilities through counseling, resource linkage, and ongoing case management. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports utilizing Microsoft Office tools. Facilitate communication between clients, families, and service providers to promote understanding and resolve conflicts effectively. Deliver first aid and CPR when necessary during emergency situations to ensure immediate safety. Work with culturally diverse communities to provide inclusive social services that respect individual backgrounds and needs. Advocate for clients' rights while supporting high-risk populations such as children in foster care or individuals with disabilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that address behavioral health, social needs, and legal considerations. Experience Demonstrated experience working with children in social work or related fields such as child & family services or child welfare. Proven background in crisis intervention and crisis management within social service settings. Familiarity with child protective services procedures, family law, and high-risk population support strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges is preferred. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for client interaction and team collaboration. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to navigate sensitive situations professionally.
