Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker Prior experience in school-based social work strongly preferred Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills Ability to work with diverse student populations and manage sensitive situations with professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies and promote positive school climate Participate in intervention planning and crisis response for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges Provide referrals and coordinate community resources for students and families as needed Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services in compliance with school and state guidelines Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in school social work
