This is an excellent opportunity for a School Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, or School-Based Social Worker with Child Study Team (CST) experience . The School Social Worker will provide school-based social work services, student counseling, social-emotional support, behavioral support, crisis intervention, and mental health services to high school students. Pay:

School Social Worker Job Responsibilities Provide school-based social work services to high school students with moderate social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs Provide individual counseling and small group counseling based on student needs and established therapy goals Deliver social-emotional support, behavioral intervention, and student support services Assess student needs and qualify students for services using district identification criteria Support the identification, evaluation, and service planning process for eligible students Transition students out of services and support service exit planning when appropriate Maintain accurate and timely social work documentation, counseling records, and service documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, families, school administrators, Child Study Team members, and multidisciplinary school teams Communicate regularly with families and school personnel regarding student needs and progress Provide referrals for higher levels of care and community-based mental health services as needed Conduct crisis screenings and crisis interventions as needed Support students experiencing behavioral health, emotional, social, and mental health challenges Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment Participate in Child Study Team (CST) meetings and school-based team meetings Perform other school social work duties as assigned Licensed School Social Worker Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited university Active New Jersey social work license, school social work certification, or state-level licensure/certification , or the ability to obtain required credentials Child Study Team (CST) experience required Experience as a School Social Worker, School-Based Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, or Clinical Social Worker preferred Experience working with high school students preferred Experience providing individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support Knowledge of school-based mental health services and student support services Strong communication, collaboration, assessment, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams School Social Worker Benefits Competitive pay: $59-$67 per hour Rates commensurate with experience No non-compete clauses in our contracts Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) Retirement plan Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Referral program Employee discount Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives Join a team run by therapists for therapists!
