Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field required Current state licensure as a School Social Worker in New Mexico Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) certification Experience supporting K-12 students in school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Open to both local candidates and travelers seeking new experiences
Key Responsibilities:
Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to a diverse K-12 caseload Work with students, families, and school staff to address barriers to learning and promote student well-being Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create cohesive support strategies Facilitate individual and group sessions to foster positive coping and problem-solving skills Advocate for students and connect families with community resources This role offers an exciting chance to build meaningful relationships and leave a lasting positive impression on students.
