Qualified candidates for a Social Worker position will have: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work and nursing home social work experience preferred. MDS experience preferred. Experience with residents who have memory impairment preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Knowledge of concerns and challenges specific to the geriatric population. Ability to engage families in the care planning process and assist them in developing skills for coping with the unique challenges associated with the aging of a loved one.
