CAP is seeking a Domestic Violence Advocate/Educator. The Advocate/Educator provides direct services to victims of domestic violence and their children and serves as a liaison between victims of domestic violence and law enforcement, the courts, social services, and other service providers. The Advocate/Educator also provides educational presentations to the community and schools regarding the dynamics of domestic violence and the services provided by CAP. The Domestic Violence Advocate/Educator must meet the following minimum qualifications: Associate's degree in human services or related field required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Family Development Credential is desired. Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence, and the problems and needs of victims. Must have reliable transportation and a clean, valid driver's license. This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled 35 hrs/wk with an hourly rate of $20.41.
