full-time The International Leadership Charter High School is a high performing College Preparatory high school dedicated to providing an exceptional secondary school education to first and second generation students to graduate college ready. The International Leadership Charter High School implements an academically rigorous Regents and college-preparatory curriculum that elevates students' intellectual capacity, and provides a superior high school education. Our Charter High school is in the Top 1% High School out of 500 NYC Public High Schools and Recipient of Bronze Award from U.S. News & World Report for Best High Schools nationally 2013 through 2024.

Position Duties and Expectations:

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator including the ability to take direction from School Leadership and work with diverse members of the community including teachers, administrators, parents and students. The ability to function effectively in a school environment and support the professional culture and traditions of the school is essential. ? The ability to work in a team to solve problems. Strong interpersonal written, oral and social skills to collaborate with colleagues ? Serve as the liaison between the school and families. ? Coordinate family communications and parent engagement initiatives. ? Organize family workshops and monthly parent meetings. ? Respond to main office emails and voicemail. ? Coordinate school events, field trips, and Open House events. ? Support student recruitment, enrollment, lottery, and waitlist processes. ? Maintain accurate student and family records. ? Collaborate with teachers, administrators, students, and community organizations. ? Participate in emergency preparedness and the Building Response Team. ?

School Event and Field Trips Management:

Complete related tasks associated with events ? Keep up to date student and family contact information ? Support with the management of the student lottery and waitlist, open house events and overall enrollment process. Fielding calls for registration and open houses ? Organize student recruitment and liaison with community-based organizations ? Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail ? Competent use of technology and work-related applications ? Strong work tenure, preferably in a non-profit organization or 3 years of work experience at a charter school is preferred Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience using technology and office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
  • Experience in a charter school or nonprofit organization preferred.
  • Experience with family engagement, community outreach, and event coordination is a strong advantage.
Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation will be commensurate with level of experience and a record of demonstrated success. We are seeking an individual of outstanding quality with a track record of positive outcomes. The International Leadership Charter School is prepared to offer a compensation package commensurate with experience, to include a competitive base salary as well as health, dental, vision and 401K.
