$59,000-75,000

Unlicensed:

$56,000 The annual salary for this position will be determined based on years of qualified experience.

Job Summary:

Clinical Therapists are responsible for providing high quality support and services for the children and others we serve. They utilize effective communication and interaction skills with students, children, families and others to promote success and help those we serve achieve the highest possible quality of life.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Provide individual counseling and crisis counseling as needed 2. Provide family sessions and family contact as appropriate 3. Complete required paperwork (all client contacts, progress notes, tx plans and reviews) 4. Case management and coordination with other service providers and families 5. Crisis Management 6. Provide support and explanation to RTF staff regarding clients (sensitize to trauma and clinical needs) 7. Reading and sending emails internally to keep staff informed 8. Attend meetings (multi d, red flag meetings, school and supervision etc.) 9. Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Professional Education Required:

Master's Degree in

Social Work or Mental Health Counseling Experience Required:

At least 1 year of experience working with children and families in a Social Work or Mental Health setting. This may include an internship.

License/Certification Requirements:

Must have one of the following

NYS Licensure:

LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMHC-P or; NYS Licensure eligible and obtain licensure within 6 months from date of hire

Valid NYS Driver's License Training Requirement:

TCI (provided by OLV Human Services)

The overall nature of the position is sedentary requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required. There is little, if any, exposure to environmental conditions.
