Job Description

Pet Care Associate-Full Time / Part Time Must Love Pawz is a locally owned pet boarding, daycare, training and pet sitting business, located in Latham, NY. Part of our mission is to make the clients (dogs and cats) feel at home while in our care. We take pride in our clean, safe and fun environment, which takes the whole team to accomplish every day. We are looking to hire full and part time, Pet Care Associates. We work in a very physical environment all day, from scrubbing walls to working with dogs up to 185 lbs. All associates must have a positive attitude, be reliable and responsible, self-motivated and detail oriented. We prefer applicants that have experience working: with pets, in a fast paced environment, with computers and in both a team environment and independently.
AVAILABILITY
must be able to work up to 8 hour shifts that may start as early as 5:30am or end as late as 10:30pm, to include weekends and holidays. You will have to work a variation of both day and evening shifts each week. Responsibilities of a Pet Care Associate increase during their tenure and demonstration of capabilities (see below for a sample). Cleaning of facility Pet activity time (1 on 1 with pets) Handling of pets in facility (potty time, etc) Pet rest time (TLC with pets) Dog walks (in most weather conditions) Cleaning up after pets Bathing of pets Dog treadmill operation Feeding Administering of medications Dog day care (Play Group) supervision Phone (518) 786-7257
