MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid NYS School Counselor Certification
Strong commitment to children
Provide individual and group counseling to high school students
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with CTE programs, work-based learning, or post-secondary advising
Knowledge of labor market trends, industry credentials, and graduation pathways
Ability to support students with career exploration, pathway planning, and post-secondary transitions
Strong commitment to establishing positive relationships with community agencies to support students and families
Provide support to the Building/District TCIS and Crisis Response Teams
Strong understanding of Social Emotional Learning and Multi-Tiered System of Supports
Five years' experience working with secondary level students preferred

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full time, probationary appointment
10-month position
