Social Workers provide services to all types and ages of patients, including infants, children, adolescents, young adults and the elderly.

Qualifications Responsibilities:

Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program MSW (Master in Social Work) from a School of Social Work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. (CSWE) Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English Prior experience in Social Work in a health care setting or other relevant social work setting is preferred. License/Certifications LMSW (New York State Certification in Social Work) Mandated OMH documentation: Mandated reporter attestation Code of Conduct Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn

Hearing:

perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Standing for long periods of time. Frequent, prolonged standing/walking. Ability to lift five pounds.
