Job Description:
Field of Dreams provides center-based childcare services for children ages 2.9 to 5 years old with and without special needs in both an integrated and non-integrated preschool setting. School Social Worker Conducts therapy with preschool children, summer education students including individual and group sessions using both cognitive and play therapy approaches. Carries out parental counseling and provides guidance on parent and family issues, as well as how to deal with the nature of the child's disability. Performs classroom and therapy observations of students to assess emotional development and behavioral functioning. Presents findings and suggestions for behavior modification to teachers and therapists. Supervises the implementation of plans through teacher/therapist training. LMSW or LCSW
