Positive Role Models for Youth Support in Yonkers, Westchester County We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to serve as positive role models for children and teenagers facing challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health or behavioral concerns. Position Overview The ideal candidate has experience working with youth and a passion for helping shape behaviors that improve the well-being of both the child and their family. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies tailored to each child and family's needs Implement and follow individualized plans designed to achieve specific goals Build strong, supportive relationships that foster growth and development Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support the child's overall well-being Qualifications Background in behavioral strategies, childcare, special education, or a related field Strong mentoring and teaching abilities Understanding of child welfare and behavioral health practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Schedule Monday through Friday (after school hours) Weekend availability as needed Compensation $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience, education, and skill level Education Requirement Bachelor's degree (BA) minimum If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and their families, we encourage you to apply.
