Love for children and empathy for parents Desire to share Jesus and to plant seeds of faith in all aspects of program Position Responsibilities Oversight of church service nursery childcare. Coordinate adequate volunteers, facility set up, instructional program, and materials. Maintain highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and health guidelines Arrange care for special needs other than Sunday morning: Church services on Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and any other special evening services or special events held by the church where childcare is deemed necessary by the Lead Pastor. Maintain and update Safe Sanctuary policy according to UMC Conference and Centenary UMC requirements and policies Manage record keeping related to Nursery Ensure consistency of caregivers for our youngest children. Children need to see a familiar face at church. Recruit & schedule additional caregivers. Build and maintain positive relationships with families. Communicate updates and changes with families Be an advocate for ministries involving our youngest members Education/Experience/Professional Competencies Experience in a childcare setting desired CPR & First Aid Certification desired
Pay:
$21.89 - $26.37 per hour
