Behavioral Health Respite Provider Join Our Mission to Empower and Transform Lives The Behavioral Health Respite Providers support young people by creating safe, supportive environments that promote emotional wellness, stability, and personal growth while also easing stress on caregivers. They build positive relationships with youth and engage them through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and empowerment-focused approaches that are individualized and non-stigmatizing. Providers help youth strengthen communication, emotional regulation, coping, social interaction, and independent living skills through coaching, mentoring, structured activities, and real-life skill practice across home, school, and community environments. They reinforce individualized treatment objectives and positive behavior supports while encouraging healthy decision-making and meaningful community involvement. Providers also collaborate closely with families and care teams, respond appropriately during behavioral crises, and help implement prevention strategies that reduce risk and improve overall functioning and resilience. What you bring to this role: Requires a High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field desired.
2+ years of experience working with youth preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work with a diverse population
Ability to use a computer, proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Valid Ohio Driver's License
Travel to homes of clients/students is necessary
Ability to evaluate, monitor, and support clients' well-being and stability in various life domains.
Ability to act effectively in stressful situations.
Ability to gather information to make informed recommendations and referrals to appropriate resources.
Ability to help clients identify their strengths and needs.
Ability to assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment goals.
Ability to manage a complex caseload of high need, complex need clients.
