Organization:
NVBH (Northeast Valley Behavioral Health) Position Summary We are seeking a Master's Level Licensed Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) to provide compassionate, high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting. This is a clinical therapy position focused on assessment, individual/family counseling, group facilitation, and care coordination. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group counseling services. Facilitate therapeutic groups for children, adolescents, and adults. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record. Collaborate effectively with families, schools, courts, and other professionals. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed. Link clients to community resources and support systems. Uphold professional ethics and standards of practice.
Requirements Education:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Active LSW or LCSW in the State of Ohio (required). LISW strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health, counseling, or social work. Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records. Knowledge of community resources in the Mahoning Valley. Ability to pass background check and drug screen. First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children/adolescents and adults. Training in evidence-based practices (CBT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, etc.). Experience in criminal justice, school-based, or integrated behavioral health settings. Bilingual skills are a plus. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate with potential for growth.
