A Family, School, or General Case Manager coordinates the delivery of a range of social and health services to individuals and families. Assess client needs and work with agencies and institutions ensure clients get the help they need. Monitor client and work with other service providers as necessary to address client needs. Provide limited counseling to client and their family.

Job Description

Edu/Training:

BA or BS degree in social service or a related field of study, normally required.

Experience:

A minimum of two years experience in a related child welfare or human service position, normally required.

Skills:

proficient interpersonal relations & communication skills; thorough knowledge & understanding of the juvenile justice system, child welfare, & mental health systems; proficient case management skills with individuals, families, service providers, & systems; proficient keyboarding skills; proficient PC skills.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a resource person, case manager, and counselor to the families in the Diversion Program.

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
