PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides sound training to Citrus Family Care Network's (Citrus FCN) staff, business and community partners, to raise the performance level of all who participate in the child welfare system, while supporting Citrus FCN's mission and strategy.

Facilitate learning (classroom and field coaching) for staff consistent with the system of care. Deliver pre-service curriculum training as required by Florida Administrative Code to new child welfare workers. Maintain current knowledge of policies, rules, laws that govern child welfare. Provide training internally and throughout the community to child welfare partners to increase staff knowledge, skills and abilities. Remediate deficiencies and meet regulatory requirements. Develop and conduct learning activities to improve practice and promote best practice strategies, including online trainings and job aids. Provide evaluative feedback to supervisors/management concerning staff learning needs and performance. Provide coaching to new and experienced employees. Develop and implement (individualized) coaching plans, facilitate activities, assess progress of learner and provide feedback. Debrief coaching sessions and assignments with staff and gives strength-based evaluative feedback used to develop skills. Create a safe learning environment to encourage staff to take risks when practicing new skills. Continue professional development by attending trainings and conferences as assigned by supervisor. Maintains Learning Management System used to provide reports on outcomes. Represent Citrus FCN at community meetings when requested. Performs other duties as necessary and/or assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
This position requires at least 3 years of direct service delivery as a Child Protective Investigator, Child Welfare Case Manager, or Child Welfare Licensing Counselor. Supervisory experience preferred. Preference for certification by the Florida Certification Board as CWPI, CWCM, CWLC and/or completion of the TCCP program and certification for pre-service trainers. Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, including members of outside agencies. Work requires knowledge of Social Service practices and child welfare system; plus, a highly developed Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity. Must have comprehensive knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software, including Word, Excel, and other MS Office products. Must be able to handle many tasks simultaneously. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Work closely with Case Management Agencies' staff members to monitor/ensure fidelity of the practice models. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Well-versed in state and federal statute impacting child welfare. Ability to communicate with the Training Manager when problems arise. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans. Ability to interface and communicate with internal and external providers. Understanding and application of federal, state, local and agency confidentiality rules and professional standards of conduct. Knowledge of computer software to include FSFN, ASK, Mindshare, CJIS, spreadsheets, database, Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook and other Office products.
