Supervisors possess excellent leadership characteristics that contribute to both department and overall agency success. General Responsibilities Serve as a member of the agency's management team Provide subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day business issues Remain aware of current applicable subject matter practices and industry trends Collaborate with Senior Supervisors and Directors to create and nurture effective communication within the assigned department and organization as a whole Partner with Senior Supervisors and Directors in decision making as appropriate and disseminate information to staff when needed Work toward goal achievement for programs based on the organization's strategic objectives Identify and execute tasks needed for optimal service delivery in assigned department including processes and deadlines Ensure service delivery is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations (i.e. state, county, and grant funding entities), accreditation requirements, and all policies and procedures established by Caring for Kids, Inc. Help with planning and execution of agency events Maintain a commitment to strong ethical standards Other tasks as assigned Primary Responsibilities Provide weekly individual and/or group supervision to team members. Assist in assignment of cases to staff and keeping caseloads balanced. Review clients with assigned staff to identity case management (as applicable), permanency, treatment, and safety needs and evaluate service provision. Cosign Individual Service/Treatment Plans, Comprehensive/Diagnostic Assessments, Incident Reports, quarterly reports,1699s, and other documentation necessary to service delivery. Track weekly contacts for treatment level foster youth. Promote successful permanency outcomes. Approve behavioral health notes for weekly billing. Assure the timely completion and submission of monthly and quarterly reports. Rotationally on call 24/7 for crisis support to staff and families. Collaborate with Licensing team to ensure compliance of foster families. Ensure that the services provided are in line with CFK's mission and values. Follow the guidelines of the social work or counselor code of ethics. Supervisory Responsibility Supervision and evaluation of direct service staff Train and be a motivating mentor to staff Assist with building a strong team through effective and thorough hiring and training practices Provide regular supervision, support, and development opportunities to ensure staff retention and growth Maintain appropriate staffing ratios and manage workloads
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or counseling is required. Licensure by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board is required. Minimum of three years of experience in child welfare, foster care, adoption, or pediatric behavioral health is required. Valid driver's license, minimum required auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record, as well as a reliable vehicle with valid registration, is required. Ohio Adoption Assessor (can be obtain upon hire).
