Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced BIPP/Domestic Violence Assessor to join our team. This critical role involves evaluating individuals involved in domestic violence cases, this assessment prepares each client to attend out groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare, social work, or related fields, with a focus on domestic violence and family dynamics. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable populations while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals involved in domestic violence situations, including victims and perpetrators Evaluate risk factors related to child protective services family law, and behavioral health issues Document assessment findings accurately Participate in ongoing training to stay current on best practices related to child welfare, crisis management, and behavioral health Experience Prior experience working with child protective services or in a child welfare setting is highly preferred Experience with children and families facing domestic violence or crisis situations is essential Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, conflict management, and behavioral health are necessary for success in this role Background in social work, family law, childcare, or related fields is desirable Familiarity with child welfare systems, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health practices will enhance effectiveness in assessment duties This role is vital for supporting families through challenging circumstances while ensuring safety and well-being.
