Full-time. 8am-5:30 pm (M-T). With occasional evening and weekends to accommodate needs of families served and the program.

Y General Purpose:

The Parent Support Provider is responsible for recruiting, enrolling, and engaging families in program services while maintaining consistent weekly contact, primarily through home visits. This role focuses on providing structured, evidence-based support to families, ensuring fidelity to the SafeCare® Colorado model, and promoting positive parent-child interactions. By building strong, trust-based relationships, the Parent Support Provider empowers families with the skills and resources needed to create safe and nurturing home environments. Parent Support Provider Duties and Responsibilities Attend 4-day SafeCare® Colorado Parent Support Provider Training and any additional supplemental trainings before or after and pass all requirements for full certification Understand and adhere to SafeCare® module protocol to meet fidelity. Make initial enrollment telephone calls to referred families. Scheduling and completing weekly in-home visits with enrolled families. Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings, to meet the diverse needs of families and actively engage in program outreach initiatives. Participate in weekly individual and monthly group coaching (by phone or in person) until certification is reached. After certification, continue to participate in monthly coaching to maintain fidelity. Use tablet and database systems to complete intake and ongoing family tracking and administer quality improvement measures. Attend weekly in person team meetings, as well as 1:1 meeting with supervisor. CDHS Program Evaluations of SafeCare Colorado Required Skills/Abilities:

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Strong planning skills and strategic mindset. Timely and accurate in following through with goals, objectives, and requests. Ability to work with diverse populations. Highly responsive and respectful to requests for information from staff. Able to accommodate flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings, to meet the diverse needs of families and actively engage in program outreach initiatives. Track record of maintaining strict confidentiality. Comfortable with remote work and technology like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Open to feedback from one's supervisor. Experience with young children/knowledge of early childhood development Committed to and skilled in building relationships with under-resourced, at-risk families using a strength-based approach. Open to learning and implementing new curricula or intervention programs. Open to delivering a highly structed intervention. Able to be both creative and flexible in delivering services to families while continuously maintaining professional boundaries.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma required associated degree or higher preferred.

Accreditation:

National SafeCare Accreditation completed within six months of starting.
