Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging outreach programs tailored to the needs of youth, including activities that promote social skills, education, and personal development Build trusting relationships with children and adolescents by providing mentorship, guidance, and support in various settings Collaborate with families, schools, community organizations, and service providers to coordinate resources and ensure comprehensive care for youth with diverse needs Assist in managing behavioral health concerns by applying conflict management techniques and behavioral intervention strategies Facilitate workshops or teaching sessions focused on life skills, conflict resolution, or social-emotional learning Monitor progress of youth participants through documentation and regular follow-up to ensure goals are being met Advocate for children's welfare by identifying individual needs and connecting families with appropriate services or resources Qualifications Experience working with children, including in educational or childcare settings Knowledge of special education principles and working with individuals with disabilities Background in behavioral health or child welfare services is highly desirable Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire youth from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills for effective conflict management and collaboration with stakeholders Familiarity with social work practices and child development theories Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, patience, and empathy Join us in creating a nurturing environment where young people can thrive!
