ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Supervise and ensure the safety and well being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group. Implement the daily program according to the lesson plans furnished by the regular teaching team. Assist assigned teacher in any way possible. Assist in serving the meals and sitting with the children while they eat at the tables in family style. Keep classrooms, storage rooms, and bathrooms clean, neat and orderly. Be familiar with and follow all procedural policies. Report to Supervisor any special needs or problems of individual children. Report to Supervisor any cases of suspected child abuse or neglect. Handle discipline promptly and in accordance with stated policy on discipline. Must be cooperative and discuss center matters at the center.
