Job Description

Hiring for 2 positions: Full time: Mon-Fri 4pm-12:00am
Part Time:
Saturday and Sunday 5pm-11pm Overview Join our dedicated team as a Victim Advocate working the second shift, where your compassion and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of victims of crime and their families. In this vital role, you will provide emotional support, guidance, and resources to help victims navigate the often complex aftermath of traumatic events. Your proactive approach and commitment to child welfare will ensure victims receive the assistance they need to begin healing and regain stability. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to justice, safety, and community well-being. Duties Offer immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to victims and their families during second shift hours Answer incoming crisis calls on a rotating basis. Assist victims in understanding their rights and options within family law, child protective services, and other legal processes Coordinate with social services, healthcare providers, and legal agencies to facilitate access to necessary resources Conduct assessments of victim needs related to behavioral health, child welfare, and conflict management Provide guidance on childcare concerns and help develop safety plans tailored to individual circumstances Document all interactions thoroughly in case files while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations Support victims through crisis management strategies, ensuring they feel empowered and informed throughout their recovery process Requirements Proven experience in the social work field is highly desirable Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, and conflict resolution techniques Knowledge of child welfare systems and behavioral health practices Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically and professionally Ability to work independently during second shift hours while managing multiple cases effectively Demonstrated skills in behavioral health support, social work principles, and childcare assistance Relevant certifications or training in social work, crisis intervention, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory Valid TN Drivers License and good driving record Background check This role is perfect for compassionate professionals eager to make a tangible impact by supporting victims through challenging times.
