Job Description
State Testing Coordinator ACCEL Schools

- while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.
Eligibility:
Open to residents of Texas Key Responsibilities State Testing Coordination Manage all aspects of state-mandated testing in accordance with state laws, school policies, and educational best practices. Maintain and manage accounts with the Department of Education and testing vendors. Maintain accurate student databases for testing, including accommodations and assigned assessments. Track, plan, and implement make-up testing for students. Coordinate logistics for testing sites including booking venues, securing agreements, and arranging staff lodging. Order and manage testing materials, ensuring secure distribution and collection. Develop and deliver virtual and in-person training for staff on test security and administration. Collaborate with special education and 504 coordinators to ensure proper implementation of testing accommodations. Create staffing plans for testing sites and manage assignments. Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families regarding testing logistics and expectations. Compile, import, and distribute student testing results through the Student Information System (SIS). Provide regular reports and feedback to leadership on testing progress and issues. State Reporting and Data Management Maintain a strong understanding of state reporting requirements, specifically those of West Virginia and other assigned states. Extract, analyze, and submit accurate data to the Department of Education within required timelines. Troubleshoot and correct data issues in collaboration with school personnel and state systems. Upload, verify, and manage data files across various platforms including PowerSchool, WVEIS 2.0, and other web-based systems. Support schools in resolving submission errors and data discrepancies. Complete additional reporting tasks such as Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC), staff data submissions, Direct Certification imports, payment reports, and audits. Conduct regular data reviews and prepare reports for school leadership and sponsor analysis. Stay updated through professional development and participate in state and organizational meetings as needed. About You Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. State Administrative License preferred. Minimum of 3 years of state reporting and/or testing administration experience, preferably across multiple states. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Suite, and web-based applications. Experience with Student Information Systems (PowerSchool preferred), Salesforce, WVEIS 2.0, and other reporting tools. Skilled in data entry, report generation, and data integrity practices. Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. High-quality written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Customer service orientation and ability to engage diverse stakeholders professionally.
