Overview Join our dedicated team as a Safety Compliance Specialist, where your expertise will ensure the highest standards of safety and regulatory adherence within our organization. In this vital role, you will oversee compliance with safety protocols, conduct thorough assessments, and promote a culture of safety awareness. Your proactive approach will help protect our staff, clients, and community while fostering an environment rooted in responsibility and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies aligned with legal standards and organizational goals. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Provide training sessions on safety procedures, crisis intervention techniques, and behavioral health best practices. Investigate incidents or safety violations thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with child welfare professionals, social workers, and family services teams to support safe environments for children and families. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child protective services and other regulatory requirements. Manage conflict resolution efforts, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively. Stay current on industry standards related to childhood development, childcare, family law, and behavioral health to inform best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in social work, child welfare, or related fields with a focus on safety compliance. Strong knowledge of mandated reporting laws, child protective services protocols, and crisis management strategies. Skilled in motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients and families constructively. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and children in various settings. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavioral health practices, and family law regulations. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, healthcare providers, and legal professionals. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
