We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Social Worker to join our team.
MUST HAVE MSW.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to improving the well-being of individuals and families through effective support and intervention. As a Social Worker, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support in various settings. Your expertise in mental health, counseling, and community resources will be essential in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve their goals. This is a PRN position with possibility of Full time Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Offer support and guidance to families dealing with issues related to dementia care and autism. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on skill-building and coping strategies. Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary resources within the community. Stay informed about current trends in social work practices, medical terminology, and relevant legislation. Skills The successful candidate should possess the following skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
