UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program, and a Level

III NICU.

Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities Coordinating the care and service of the patients, promoting quality care, effective utilization of resources, and assuming a leadership role with the interdisciplinary team to achieve desired goals and resource outcomes.

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of services and working collaboratively with all members of the interdisciplinary team.

Providing therapeutic counseling for patients, families/significant others, as well as members of the interdisciplinary team to enhance coping and functional skills. Qualifications Job Requirements Master's Degree in Social Work.

Licensed by the State of Texas, or obtain licensure within 6 months of hire. Preferred Job Requirements 1-3 years of acute care experience.
