We are seeking a reliable and skilled general Home Maintenance Worker to support our residential homes for individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our community residences remain safe, fully functional, accessible, and comfortable for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painter tasks, hardware replacement). Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests to ensure resident safety and comfort. Maintain clean work areas and safely store tools, chemical supplies, and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience in general home repair, basic carpentry, plumbing, or facility maintenance. Strong communication skills and a respectful, empathetic attitude toward individuals with disabilities. Valid UT driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
