  • Full-time Think Happy Live Healthy is hiring a child therapist to work with children ages 5 to 15 and their families at our Falls Church or Ashburn, VA office .
Be the therapist families trust for their children. We'll handle the rest. At Think Happy Live Healthy, you get to focus on what you do best: providing thoughtful, meaningful therapy to children and families. We provide the referrals, intake support, scheduling support, billing support, credentialing support, EHR training, and team collaboration so you do not have to build a caseload alone. This role is a great fit for a licensed clinician or resident who enjoys working with children, wants consistent referrals, and prefers a warm, supportive private practice environment. Most families are seeking support for concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, school stress, behavioral challenges, social difficulties, and parent guidance. This is an in person position with afternoon, evening, and some weekend availability required. What we offer Steady referrals to help you build and maintain your caseload Intake and scheduling support Billing and payment workflow support Credentialing support EHR access and training Clinical consultation and team collaboration Supervision or consultation for residents, when applicable A supportive private practice environment where clinicians are not working in isolation Opportunities to grow in child, family, ADHD, anxiety, and school related specialties About the role You will provide in person therapy to children and families, with a focus on ages 5 to 15. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys child centered work, understands the importance of parent involvement, and is comfortable supporting common childhood concerns. Because many families need appointments outside of school hours, availability during afternoons, evenings, and at least some weekend hours is required. What you will do Provide psychotherapy to children ages 5 to 15 Partner with parents and caregivers as clinically appropriate Use evidence based, developmentally appropriate interventions Maintain timely documentation in our EHR Collaborate with therapists, psychiatry, and psychological testing providers when needed Participate in consultation or supervision, if applicable Qualifications Applicants must be eligible to provide therapy in Virginia.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers Licensed Professional Counselors Licensed Psychologists School Psychologists with appropriate clinical eligibility PsyD or PhD level clinicians Residents in Counseling Supervisees in Social Work Other qualified Virginia mental health professionals Preferred qualifications: Experience working with children and families Comfort supporting ADHD, anxiety, emotion regulation, behavior, and school related concerns Interest in evidence based, whole child care Ability to provide in person therapy in Falls Church or Ashburn Availability for after school, evening, and some weekend hours Schedule and location This is an in person role at our Falls Church or Ashburn, Virginia office. Full time preferred (20 hours per week). Flexible scheduling is available within after school, evening, and weekend coverage needs.
