Boys & Girls Club Athletics Coordinator

The Athletics Coordinator plans programs and activities, which promote health, hygiene, teamwork, and individual skill development. Essential Duties Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all members Plans and implements daily programs and activities in the gym and on the playground. Provide active supervision, continually interacting with all members and providing motivation and encouragement Provides everyday guidance to members. Promotes and markets programs to members. Manages necessary administrative functions and assigned resources. Assist in the transportation of kids including, but not limited to, driving and walking escorts when necessary. Keep the gym and playground clean and safe Maintain and organize equipment Affirm positive behavior in members, and deliver coaching conversations and redirection when needed Ability to work in high energy, loud, and active settings with large groups of youth and teens All BGCOP employees are Mandated Reporters, and must report any suspected Child Abuse or Neglect to their direct supervisor.

Part-time Monday 12:15pm-6:00pm, Tuesday-Friday 1:30pm-6:00pm (summer hours may vary)
