This position will make regular visits to client homes and provide assessments of Home Visitors' performance and client families' well-being. Travel to various locations in the King County area is required. Essential Functions Provide Home Visitors with training, modeling, and coaching to ensure the delivery of responsive services in line with the Early Head Start (EHS) performance standards and curricula. Observe, evaluate, and provide feedback on Home Visitors' skills through Reflective and Administrative Supervision. Observe consistent home visits with each Home Visitor. Work to identify and address barriers preventing children and families from attending home visits and socializations. Collaborate with staff to identify solutions to increase attendance and engagement. Monitor and support Home Visitors in maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of home visits, child progress, parent contact, parent goals, planning forms, and data entry into electronic data system. Monitor Program Information Report (PIR) using electronic data system and tracking system to ensure health, child development, and family partnership goals are being set and met in a timely fashion. Monitor overall program performance and develop plans to identify and address concerns, as well as grow and support team capacity as a whole. Collaborate with Child Development, Head Start programs, Home Visitors, and families to ensure a smooth transition for children into and out of the EHS program. Collaborate with Child Development, community partners and consultants to facilitate appropriate referrals and connection with Early Intervention, or other community resources, as needed. Collaborate with the EHS Support Team, especially the Coach to support the development of the Early Head Start Team, and the professional development of Home Visitors. Support planning and facilitation of group socializations with Home Visitors, Health Services, and Family Community Partnerships Coordinators. Additional Responsibilities May maintain a small home visiting caseload. Oversee Home Visitor staffing, caseload management and scheduling to ensure the program is meeting requirements. May serve as the program administrator in the Home Visiting & Health Director's absence.
