This part-time position provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students after school while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
Schedule:
6-10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the academic year, 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Responsibilities Supervise students during after-school hours. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts. Assist students with homework as needed. Prepare and serve snacks. Supervise indoor and outdoor play, including playground activities. Promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among students. Maintain attendance and sign-in/sign-out records. Ensure student safety and compliance with program policies. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and program leadership. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Qualifications Experience working with children in a school, daycare, childcare, camp, or similar setting preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Successful completion of required background checks and Safe Environment/VIRTUS training. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. Why Join Us?
