A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.
We are hiring a licensed School Social Worker to support students in a self-contained EBD (Emotional Behavioral Disability) classroom in the Kenosha, WI area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, 44-week contract position.

Caseload:
10-12 students, EBD self-contained classroom (no cross-categorical students)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct social work services to students in a self-contained EBD setting Collaborate closely with the case manager on related services Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development Maintain compliance documentation per state and district guidelines
Requirements:
Active Wisconsin School Social Work License (DPI) Experience working with students with emotional/behavioral disabilities preferred
