You have experience working with people with disabilities or other special needs, or you are willing to learn. You are flexible and adaptable to changing situations and needs. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Special Education, Psychology, Developmental Disabilities or a mental health-related field is preferred. A combination of education and experience is welcome! You have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and updated insurance. What You Get to Do Each Day Support and lead an amazing group of Child & Youth Services Assistants. Communicate and work with families regarding referral documentation and procedure. Maintain case files and case notes for all Child & Youth clients. Organize community-focused events for Child & Youth clients. Provide emotional support and encouragement to children and their families. Ensure the safety and well-being of the children by adhering to VARC's policies and procedures.
