Boland Coordinator of Marriage Enrichment and Natural Family Planning Location:
St. Francis, WI, 53235 Position Overview The Boland Coordinator of Marriage Enrichment and Natural Family Planning (NFP) works to enhance, accompany, and support ministries in parishes and schools that pertain to marriage, conjugal love, body literacy, and NFP. This work includes coordinating direct services to train couples in the use of NFP; recruiting and supporting NFP instructors,; coordinating pastoral care ministries to help marriages thrive throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee; casting vision for God's plan for married love and fertility to younger audiences as a remote preparation for married life. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and facilitate marriage enrichment programs and events. Coordinate direct ministry programs to promote and educate couples, women and families in Natural Family Planning, body literacy, and conjugal love Promote and support the overall growth and health of NFP ministry and body literacy throughout southeastern Wisconsin Provide education and support for Natural Family Planning (NFP) methods to couples and individuals Organize and coordinate programs to support healthy, Christ-centered marriages and families Collaborate with clergy, parish staff, and community partners to promote marriage and family life initiatives. Develop and distribute educational materials related to marriage enrichment and NFP Maintain records of program participation and outcomes Serve as a resource and advocate for couples seeking guidance on marriage and family planning Stay informed on current trends and best practices in marriage enrichment and natural family planning Serve as a member of the Office of Formation and Family Life Prepare and steward resources for NFP, body literacy, and marriage support Required Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of Natural Family Planning methods, including awareness of primary method used by couples within the archdiocese High School diploma or equivalent required. Catholic in good standing and in a valid marriage (if applicable) required Experience in parish ministry, health care, or counseling preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Certification in specific NFP Method or demonstrated knowledge and experience of NFP required Strong knowledge of Natural Family Planning methods and marriage enrichment principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills in marketing and training, event planning Ability to organize and lead workshops and group sessions Familiarity with Catholic teachings on marriage and family life Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills Travel within and outside the archdiocese is required. A valid driver's license is required Evening and weekend work for trainings and programs required Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs Compensation and Benefits The position is a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position working in-person at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Pastoral Center.
