School Social Worker - Elementary

The School District of Waukesha is seeking a dynamic School Social Worker. The ideal candidate is a person with experience in this role. The candidate should possess strong rapport-building skills with students, parents, and the community. The candidate should also have the ability to work with the whole student academically, behaviorally, and socially. In addition to working with students, the candidate must be able to work as part of a team within one or more elementary schools as well as the District Student Services team. The candidate should have knowledge of community resources, crisis and risk assessment skills, knowledge of the truancy process, and knowledge of special education/504 processes.
