Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a responsible, observant, and compassionate individual to provide supervision and care to children and young people in out-of-home care who are temporarily housed in hotel accommodations. This staff person will be responsible for maintaining a safe and stable environment, monitoring and supporting daily routines, administering prescribed medications, arranging meals, and documenting any notable behaviors or incidents to the appropriate supervising authority. Some transportation of children to school or appointments may be required. •Minimum 32 hours per week.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or youth in care, or in a similar supervisory role. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child protection principles. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to challenging behavior appropriately. Medication Administration Training (or willingness to complete).
