Job Description
Social Worker for the Evanston Regional Hospital Dialysis Center, Interviews clients and their families and coordinates and plans programs and activities to meet their social and emotional needs. Provides community assistance, Provides crisis intervention and assists families in understanding the implications and complexities of the medical situation and its impact on lifestyle. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a master's degree in social work and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
