Associate Licensed Counselors / Masters Clinical Social Worker

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health or emotional distress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure the holistic well-being of clients.
• Provide addiction counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.
• Supervise and mentor social work interns, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources, such as Section 8 housing or workforce development programs.
• Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to enhance services and resources available to clients.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in Medicare regulations and policies related to mental health services.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with diverse populations.
• Strong crisis management skills, able to effectively intervene in high-stress situations.
• Experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Familiarity with child welfare systems and experience working with children and families.
• Ability to provide supervision and mentorship to social work interns.
• Knowledge of Medicare regulations related to mental health services.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
