Implement crisis management strategies to de-escalate urgent situations effectively while ensuring patient safety. Collect data for clinical research initiatives aimed at improving mental health interventions and outcomes. Maintain detailed records of patient progress in compliance with medical records regulations and HIPAA standards. Participate in ongoing professional development related to psychopharmacology, working with people with PTSD or autism, special education practices, or geriatrics as needed. Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques to foster patient engagement and motivation for change. Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, geriatrics, and those requiring Alzheimer's or dementia care. Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation, data collection, and clinical research activities. Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments; understanding of ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9) for diagnosis classification. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including diagnostic evaluation and intake procedures. Skilled in crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health crises effectively.
