11 Paid Federal Holidays + PTO + PSL Competitive Hourly Rate Highly Rated Work Environment Join the dedicated team at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and make a significant impact on the lives of our nation's veterans. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and social services to veterans, helping them navigate personal challenges and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of veterans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling to support mental health and emotional well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and connect veterans with community resources. Advocate for veterans' needs and assist with accessing benefits and services. Requirements A minimum of 1 year experience providing mental health services is required. Master's Degree in Social Work granted by a graduate program fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Must have advanced license (LCSW in California) or equivalent from other states Must be able to provide biopsychosocial assessments, appropriately address crisis situations including evaluate for involuntary holds, diagnosis using DSM-5 and provide psychotherapy. Work Hours Monday - Friday 0800 - 1630 As an LCSW at the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and support to those who have served our country.
