Job Description

Summary:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will implement, manage, and direct the operations and client services of the Mental Wellness Programs at Aging True. This position will provide direct supervision and clinical oversight to the professional staff within the Department to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered and maintained with regards to ethical, regulatory and funder standards. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will also serve as the Aging True mental health resource in the aging service community. This responsibility includes building community partnerships and collaborations, serving on community coalitions, and promoting the Mental Wellness programs and services provided by Aging True. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will also attempt to develop new programs and funding streams that expand our Mental Wellness Program offerings to frail elders in the Northeast Florida community.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Master's degree in mental health field (Social Work, Counseling or related field) Licensed mental health professional (LCSW or LMHC) is required Previous supervisory experience is preferred Experience in geriatric and mental health clinical setting is preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Computer skills with all Microsoft Windows applications Successful completion of all employment pre-screening; DOEA and DCF Background screenings, drug testing, etc Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout community and the state Valid Driver's license and auto insurance
Essential Functions:
I General Duties:
Oversee the operations and client services of the Mental Wellness Department which includes the Mental Wellness Dept, Daily Money Management dept and the SDC programs. Ensure the highest quality of care is being delivered to our MW, DMM and SDC clients. Ensure alignment of Department and Program goals with Aging True Mission and Client's needs. Serve as the Aging True representative and an Aging/Mental Health resource among the community's mental health providers Develop new programs and funding streams that support the Mental Wellness Program's mission
II Specific Duties:
Implement, manage, and direct the operations and client services of the Mental Wellness Programs. Will provide supervision and clinical oversight to the professional staff of the Mental Wellness Programs. Will serve as a point of escalation for urgent client needs or crisis. Will encourage, support, and coach staff in the goals of meeting or exceeding productivity expectations, providing best practice interventions, and meeting personal career development goals. Will participate in the administrative activities of the agency as part of the management staff Will provide data, information, and technical assistance for monitors and funders as required throughout the year and during scheduled audits. Will attend all required training and personnel development activities required by supervisor. Will maintain client confidentiality and privacy by strictly protecting all data and information provided by those served through Mental Wellness Programs. Will attempt to build community partnerships and collaborate with other community providers to ensure the unique needs of each client are addressed. Serve as Aging True representative on community coalitions and collaborations. Provide aging and mental health resource information and recommendations for community service providers and Aging True staff. Promote the Mental Wellness programs and services in the community and within Aging True.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Due to operational circumstances that may arise, additional time beyond normal business hours (8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday) may be required at times. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Requires sitting at a computer for up to eight hours a day. The person in this position will occasionally (takes up to one-third of their time) to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with clients who have inquiries or questions. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
